Obituary

Maurice “Moe” LeClerc, 66, of Manchester, died October 6, 2010, at home, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Manchester, November 9, 1943, to Raymond and Blanche(Joyal)LeClerc. Following High School he became an Army reservist. Following an honorable discharge, he worked as a bread man for several local companies.
In the late eighties, Moe began working for the Manchester Police Department first as a dispatcher, then in the 911 call center. He later became and auxiliary policemen, a “special” and was promoted to sergeant within that division. He was voted civilian of the year at the Manchester Police Department.
He will be remembered as a man who paid attention to the details, even creating a file system for the police department.
IN HIS LIFE: Family members include his wife of twenty years, Chris (Knowlton) LeClerc, of Manchester; his children, Dan and his wife Francine LeClerc, Raymond LeClerc, both of Manchester, Steven and his wife Tammy LeClerc, of Goffstown, Ken LeClerc, of CA; several grandchildren,step children, nieces, nephews, and cousins; 2 sisters, Terri Rivard, of FL, Denise Schryba, of Goffstown; 2 brothers, Rick LeClerc, Ron LeClerc, both of Manchester; his step-mother, Beatrice LeClerc, of Manchester.

A funeral Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church, Elm St. Manchester, on Tuesday, October 12, 2010.
Burial followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd. Manchester.
