Ru Y. Huang, 83, of Scituate, formerly of Broomall, PA, and Winter Springs, FL, died on October 6th at the South Shore Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Shanghai, China, coming to the US in 1963. Beloved wife of Kuo Huang for fifty years. Devoted mother of Dr. Julian Huang and his wife Susan, of Duxbury.Loving grandmother to Matthew, Kevin, Griffin and Ryan. She worked as a dentist in China before becoming a full time parent. She is survived by her sister Helen Ho and her husband, Cheng Hsien, their sons Jimmy and Paul and their families. Calling hours will be held Friday October 8th from 4-8 pm at Shepherd Funeral Home 216 Main St. (Rte 106) Kingston MA. A service will be held Saturday October 9th at 10am at the First Baptist Church in Duxbury with a burial to follow at Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury.
