Mahoney, Robert F., of Marshfield, Oct. 5, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Claire (Campbell) Mahoney. Dear father of Robert Mahoney and his wife Theresa of Staten Island, NY, John Mahoney of Marshfield, Christina “Tina” Mahoney of Marshfield, the late Patricia Grady, the late Kathleen, the late Margaret, and the late Paul Mahoney. Loving grandfather of 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Brother of Norman Mahoney of Milton, Paul Mahoney of Quincy, Dorothy Kiley of Maryland, the late Barbara Dorney and the late Florence Halabian.
Robert was born in Arlington and was a resident of Marshfield for 45 years. He was a navy veteran of WWII. Bob was a member of the Marshfield Elks serving on many committees. He was the former owner of the A-l Auto Body Shop in Pembroke.
Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home, l755 Ocean St., Rte. l39, Marshfield, Friday at 11 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann by The Sea Church at noon.
Visiting hours on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.
Interment will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery Bourne at 2:l5 Friday following the Funeral Mass.
