North Smithfield
Anne E. (Michaud) Murray 68, of Victory Highway died Sunday at home. She was the wife of the late Eugene F. Murray. Mrs. Murray was born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Albert and Oria (Lessard) Michaud. Mrs. Murray was a 1960 graduate of St. Claire High School in Woonsocket, and graduated from RIC with a degree in teaching. She taught French at Pilgrim High School before retiring in 1971to care for her family.
She is survived by two sons; Eugene A. Murray and Daniel Murray both of North Smithfield, a daughter Jamie Marcoux of North Smithfield, two sisters Suzanne Gallagher and Amelia Cormier both of North Smithfield, and five grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Albert Michaud.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9: 00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. John's Church, Church St. in Slatersville. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are Wednesday 5-7 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to: Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, Brookline MA 02445-9924.
