Mr. Clyde Leroy Miller, age 88, of Ararat, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home.Mr. Miller was born in Bloomingdale, MI on June 29, 1922 to the late Clyde Leroy Miller Sr. and Mira Hinshaw.Mr. Miller worked as a farmer, a member of the Men’s Ruritans Club in Eldora; Director of 55 Years for Farm Bureau; Sunday School Teacher; Lifetime Member of Quaker Men’s Group and a Chief Judge for Eldora Township and served his country in WWII in the United States Army and was a member of Pine Hill Friends Church.Mr. Miller is survived by his loving wife, Adelaide Key Miller of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Dennis Ray (Madge) Miller of Mt. Airy; one daughter and son-in-law, Annette Miller (Leon) Beavers of Sanford, NC; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John (Ruth) Miller of MI and Charles (June) Miller of Pilot Mountain; two sisters, Betty Carnes of Kansas and Dorothy (John) Michels of PA; two granddaughters and three grandsons; four great-grandchildren.Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Pine Hill Friends Church at 2:00 P.M with Pastor Michael Thames and the Rev.
