William C. Gallego, 85, of Fall River died Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Lydia (Pereira) Gallego to whom he was married to for 61 years and the son of the late Jesse and Mary (Medeiros) Gallego. Mr. Gallego was a laborer in various textile mills until his retirement in 1985 and was a WWII veteran serving his country in the U.S. Army. He was a former resident of Westport where he was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church. In addition to his wife he is survived by 2 sons: William Gallego of Chelmsford and Michael Gallego of Dartmouth; 2 daughters: Cynthia Ducharme of MA and Susan Robadouz of Barrington; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 10 A.M. from the POTTER FUNERAL HOME, 81 Reed Road, Westport, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 11 A.M. Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
