BIRD, Mary (Iandosca)- Of Chelsea, September 30th. Devoted wife of the late Richard P. Bird, Sr. Beloved mother of Richard P. Bird, Jr. and his wife Jacqueline of Auburn, Kathleen Chevalier and her husband Rick of Londonderry, NH and Joanne Bosco and her husband Jim of Revere. Dear sister of Susan Sardella of Wakefield, Angelina Moschella of Peabody, Antoinette Moschella of Reading, Massimo Iandosca of Londonderry, NH, Carmella Oliver of Virginia and the late Anthony Iandosca. Cherished grandmother of Alexa, Seth, Zachary, Joshua, Jesse and Julia. Also lovingly survived by her great granddaughter Grace as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Wednesday, October 6th at 10 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Rose Church, 600 Broadway, Chelsea at 11 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Born in Boston, but a lifelong Chelsea resident, Mary passed away a home after a brief illness. A graduate of Chelsea High School class of '46, Mary worked for many years as an assembler at Transitron in Melrose.
