Mrs. Pauline M. “Polly” Bottari, age 83 of Medford died Friday at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Stephen Bottari. Born in Boston, daughter of the late Concetto and Isabel (Fama) Arria, she was raised in Boston’s West End. She is a graduate of the former Girls High School in Boston. For many years an active member and communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in the West End. She enjoyed doing puzzles and word find problems, she also enjoyed traveling and an occasional trip to Foxwoods. She was a member of the Medford Senior Citizens and the Elliott Club. Considered an excellent cook, nothing compared to spending time with her beloved children and grandchildren. She is survived by one daughter: Pauline DiBlasi and her husband Sal of Medford, two sons: Frank Bottari of West Medford, Stephen Bottari and his wife Linda of Medford. Mother of the late Francis Bottari. Beloved grandmother of Stephen III, Jason, Christopher and Brandon Bottari, Nicholas and Stephen DiBlasi. Dear sister of Marie Arria of Melrose, Theresa Arria and her husband Peter of Medford,Sammy Arria and his wife Betty of Clinton, Thomas Arria and his wife Anita of Malden, Anthony Arria and his wife Nell of Melrose, Sister In Law of Bea Arria of Winchester. Sister of the late Sal Arria. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main Street Medford on Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 PM.
