Kenneth M. Bryant, 61, of Tifton, Georgia died Thursday, September 30, 2010, at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held 2 pm Sunday, October 3, in Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald with Rev. J.K. Mobley officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 on Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Bryant was born June 28, 1949 in Fitzgerald to the late Ernest H. and Madline Mims Bryant. He grew up in Fitzgerald, graduating from Fitzgerald High School in 1968. He was a retired Master Sergeant, serving 24 years in the United States Air Force during Vietnam and Desert Storm. . Mr. Bryant lived in Tifton for the past two years after retiring from Praxair, Inc. in Lowndes County. He was an avid Purple Hurricane fan and Georgia Bulldog fan.
Mr. Bryant is survived by his sons and a daughter-in-law: Scott & Christi Bryant and Stacy Bryant of Tifton; grandchildren: Hannah Bryant, Ethan Bryant, Rylee Bryant, Ryan Bryant and Holden Bryant; great granddaughter: Autumn Bryant; mother-in-law: Betty Smith of Tifton; brothers-in-law: Danny Dorminey of Moultrie, Jimmy Gillespie and Larry Gillespie both of Tifton as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Diane Dorminey Bryant.
