TEWKSBURY - Dorothy B. (Lloyd) Boyle, age 95, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, at her residence atthe Blairehouse of Tewksbury, Assisted Living community, peacefully, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Thomas A. Boyle, who died Sept., 20, 1994.
She was born in Sable River, Nova Scotia, Sept. 5, 1908, a daughter of the late Arthur M. andMartha (Pierce) Lloyd. She was raised in Nova Scotia, and lived in Wilmington for more than 32years, before retiring to New Smyrna Beach, in Florida. After living in Florida for 18 years, shereturned to Tewksbury in 1992.
Before retirement, she was employed by several area electronic manufacturing companies..
She was active in the North Tewksbury First Baptist Church, United Church of New SmyrnaBeach, the Elks Ladies Club, the Women’s Club of New Symrna Beach, and the Shuffle BoardClub of New Smyrna.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Elizabeth “Betty” Lothian of Dracut,Martha “Marti” and her husband Chester C. Sullivan of Tewksbury, Marilyn and her husbandGerard Brisebois of Florida; a brother William Lloyd of West Roxbury; 15 grandchildren; 31 greatgrandchildren.
She was also sister of the late Mildred Pierce, Clifford Lloyd, Irene “Renie” Goodwin, and RoyLloyd.
Her Funeral Service was held Saturday, Dec. 6, in the Tewksbury First Baptist Church. Following cremation, committal inWildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
