Spencer: Louise A. (Sebring) Perreira 67, of 17 Northwest Rd, died Saturday, September 25, 2010. She was the wife of Harold J. Perreira who died in 1994. She leaves her mother Marion E. (Andrews) Sebring-Young of Spencer, a daughter Brenda L Cloutier and her husband Vincent, with whom she lived, a son Marc J. Perreira of Lakewood Colorado, two grandchildren Brian V. and Nicole C. Cloutier of Spencer, her close friend and companion David “Chip” Ingalls of Spencer, a step son James J Perreira, and his wife Mary of Lancaster, step daughters Heidi J Hinkle of Colo., and Barbara J Plouffe and her husband Michael of Brookfield, 7 step grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren and several cousins. Louise was predeceased by her father Leon K. Sebring, step father Arthur E. Young and a step son Stephen B. Perreira.
Born in Spencer, Louise was a graduate of David Prouty High School, and a life-long member of the First Congregational Church of Spencer where she was a Collector, Deaconess, Church Secretary and a member of the Administration Committee.
Louise worked in the administrative offices of Coxen and Wolfe of Worcester, Spencer Furniture, Spencer and New England Plastic Services of Charlton. She also at one time worked at the General Store in East Brookfield. She was a member of the Spencer Republican Town Committee, and a Registrar of Voters for the Town of Spencer for over 30 Years.
Louise enjoyed the beach, reading, toll painting and sewing. She had a special fondness for all the ladies in her “Sewing Group”.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, October 4th., @ 4PM at the First Congregational Church, Main Street, Spencer. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Spencer. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Congregational Church of Spencer Memorial Fund, PO Box 187, Spencer or the Spencer Rescue Squad, PO Box 147, Spencer 01562.
