Obituary

Coconut Creek, FL – Patrick M. β€œPat” Lavoie Jr., of Coconut Creek, Florida was taken from us on Wednesday, September 15, 2010.

Patrick was born and lived in Methuen, Massachusetts until the age of 18 when he moved to Coconut Creek, Florida.
Patrick, as a child, played every sport that he could. He played soccer, baseball, football, bowling, wrestling, hockey and Tae Kwon Do. He also loved doing tricks on his bike. As he got older he started skateboarding, skiing and rollerblading in the park. To this day he would still go rollerblading in the park.

Patrick was at a pool one day when he heard someone say "HELP, he's not breathing". Patrick ran over and found a little boy lying on the ground and not breathing; He immediately started CPR on the child. After a few minutes he started to cough up some water. When Pat heard the ambulance coming he got up and left.

Patrick had brought the little boy back to life. He had learned how to do CPR when he was a boy scout. Pat didn't want anyone to know what he had done. Who would have thought after all those years of being a Cub Scout and then a Boy Scout that it would some day come into use.

Patrick is survived by his 2 girls, Jill 12, Jennifer 10, his Mother Betty Fitzgerald, Grandmothers Min Stone and Irene Lavoie, sister Wendy, fiance Julie and her son Alec and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is sadly missed by all who knew him
