Joseph M. Cordeiro, 91 of Medford, passed away peacefully on September 28, surrounded by his loving and devoted family, after a brief illness in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Medford, MA.
Born in England, he lived in Medford for the past 50 years and was the son of the late Lillian (Mills) and Joseph Cordeiro. Joseph was an Electrical Repairman employed by Sandman Electric Co. of Braintree for 40 years and retired in 1984. He served during World War II in the Army as a Staff Sergeant from 1942 to 1945.
Beloved husband of 63 years to Josephine (Noe). Loving father of Rosemary Brown of Florida, Dolores Prudente and her husband Joseph of Winchester, and Joanne Cordeiro of Winchester. Cherished grandfather of John Joseph Prudente.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Eulalia Church, 50 Ridge St., Winchester, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Thursday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
