Obituary

Mr. Roland A. Dubois, of Taunton, died Monday, September 27 in Morton Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of the late Eileen L. (McGowan) Dubois. He was born 78 years ago in Taunton, the son of the late William H. and Loretta D. (Lapalme) Dubois. He was educated in Taunton, having graduated from the former St. Jacques Grammar School and Taunton High School, Class of 1950. Mr. Dubois was a lifelong city resident. Prior to his retirement, he had owned and operated Bill’s Service Station in Taunton for many years. He served 4 years in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Korean War. He was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Parish.
He leaves: 1 daughter: Annette Dubois of Taunton; 1 son: David Dubois of Taunton; 1 sister: Irene Silvia and her husband, James of Taunton; 1 brother: Richard Dubois and his wife, Dolores of North Easton; 1 sister-in-law: Mary Lehoullier and her husband, Norman of Taunton, and several nieces and nephews. Roland was predeceased by his brother, Rev. William Dubois of the Assumption Fathers.
Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home of Taunton.
