Edna Elizabeth Adams Ray, 81, of Tifton died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Golden Living Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 30, 2010, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Joseph Crumley will officiate with burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery in Lumber City. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 30, 2010, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Ray was born on August 31, 1929 in Wheeler County and was the daughter of Alvin Adams and Verbie Garnto Adams, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Walker Ray; one brother, A. N. Adams; and two sisters, Roberta Pitts English and Thelma Adams. She was retired from Walmart.
Mrs. Ray is survived by one daughter, Dianne Futrill of Tifton; and two grandchildren.
