PETERS - Dr. Frederick J. Peters, 81, of Fernandina Beach, FL passed away Monday morning, September 27, 2010 at St. Vincents Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. Dr. Peters was born November 14, 1928 in Pittsburg, PA and moved to Fernandina Beach 12 years ago from Ft. Myers, FL. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and practiced dentistry for 43 years. He was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Joan M. Peters who passed away in 2004. Survivors include two sons, Frederick James Peters, Jr., (Amy Lynn) of Morganton, NC and Todd Madison Peters of St. Marys, GA; and a granddaughter, Gabrielle Peters. In lieu of flowers, the Dr. Peters preferred that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 1430 Prudential Dr., Jacksonville, FL 32207. Arrangements are incomplete.
