Cora A. Pennington, 91, Clarksville, died Sunday, September 26, 2010, at Dogwood Bend Assisted Living. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Dr. Roger Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born November 11, 1918 in Knoxville, TN daughter of the late James and May Sharp Drinnen. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Loy Pennington, and brothers, Hurtle and James Drinnen, and three sisters, Delsye Harris, Grace Harriss, and Polly LaRue. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class. She retired from Jostens. Survivors include two sons, Ed Pennington (Sherrie) and Jim Pennington (Gayla), both of Clarksville; four grandchildren, Brent Pennington (Kate), Clair Muiznieks (Mark), Cara Bosler (TH); and Chase Pennington; and four great-grandchildren, Banks Pennington, Ella, Mia, and Drew Muiznieks. Pallbearers will be Ray Stone, Jim Harrier, Bob Fort, Blakey Bradley, Mark Muiznieks, and Brent Pennington.
