DUNEDIN, FL - Bernice Gertrude (Anderson) Perry, 91, died at Edinborough Nursing Home in Dunedin, Florida on September 25, 2010. She was the wife of the late Edward A. Perry, who died in 1991.
She was born March 9, 1919, in Lowell, MA a daughter of the late John Anderson and Anna Berard. She was raised in Lowell, and she and her husband raised their family in Chelmsford. She moved to Florida last year.
She was proud of her heritage as a "Mill Girl" in the Lowell textiles industry.
Survivors include two daughters, Janet (Perry) LeBlanc and her husband Normand of Palm Harbor, FL, and Marlene (Perry) Demers and her husband Andrew of Dunedin, FL; granddaughters, Jennifer Gariepy, Stephanie Lynn Thornton, Danielle Cansler; grandsons, Edward Demers, Wesley Perry, Spencer Perry, Jason LeBlanc, twelve great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Bernice was also preceded in death by her son, Edward Arthur Perry Jr.
A Memorial Service was held October 1, at Crossroads Baptist Church in Pelham, NH. Graveside services followed at Edson Cemetery, Lowell, MA.
