Boston – Cecelia S. (Phaneuf) Correia, 60, of New Bedford died suddenly September 24, 2010 at Mass. General Hospital. She was the wife of David W. Correia.
Mrs. Correia was born in Acushnet, daughter of the late Paul and Flora B. (Smith) Phaneuf, and was a lifelong resident of the greater New Bedford area. A graduate of Kinyon-Campbell Business School, she was employed as a customer service representative by Donat Boisvert Insurance Agency, Inc. She was a member of the Dirty Dozen Club. She enjoyed doing crafts and visiting the casino.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 2 daughters: Darlene A. Cunha of New Bedford and Louanne M. Andrade of N. Dartmouth; a son: Joseph L. Cunha of S. Dartmouth; 2 brothers: Paul E. and Arthur H. Phaneuf both of New Bedford; a granddaughter: Jennifer Madeira of Acushnet; and several nieces & nephews.
She was sister of the late Ralph A. Phaneuf.
