WORCESTER
Raymond W. Benoit, 71, of Worcester died Wednesday, Sept. 22 at his home.
He was predeceased by his of 47 years, Patricia C. (Peltier) Benoit, his son, Michael R. Benoit and his brother Ernest R. Benoit. He leaves four children, Richard P. Benoit of Worcester, Mark W. Benoit of Charlton, Kristen E. Benoit of Bellows Fall, VT and Tricia C. Benoit-Quint of Bellows Fall, VT, a sister, Lorraine Lajeunesse of West Boylston, several grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester, son of Wilrose J. and Ernestine E. (Riopel) Benoit. He was a paratrooper with the US Airborne.
Raymond was a mechanic at Bancroft Motors and Harr Motors, before retiring.
A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, September 28 at11 AM in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave., Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Central Mass.
