Virginia (Lambert) Stephens of Salisbury CT, formerly of Needham died on December 1st at Noble horizons in Salisbury CT.. She was 92 years old. Mrs. Stephens grew up in Newton and attended Newton schools. She was a resident of Needham for 60 years from 1933 to 1993 at which time she moved to CT. Mrs. Stephens was an active member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Needham for many years. The beloved wife of the late Myron N. Stephens, she was the loving mother of Sandra Haiko of Hotchkiss School, Lakeville CT and Roy L. Stephens of Malden. The sister of Constance Philbrick of Abington, Hope Wicher of Bristol RI and the late Paul and Kemp Lambert. She was the grandmother of Brad Haiko of Lakeville CT. Funeral services will be held at the Newton Cemetery Chapel, 791 Walnut Street Newton, on Thursday December 4th at 1:00 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment will be at Newton Cemetery.
