McGinn and her husband Robert of Worcester; two grandsons, Charles W. “Chip” McGinn of Worcester and Robert J. “Rob” McGinn and his wife Joy of Watertown; her brother, Daniel Budzinski and his wife Jeanette of Auburn; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by five sisters, Eleanor, Anna, Sophie, Celia and Virginia and two brothers, Francis and Sylvester.
She was born in Webster, the daughter of Frank and Eleanor (Abramczyk) Budzinski and moved to Worcester at a young age. Olga retired as office manager from the Spaulding Company, the Worcester branch of the printing and 3M copier sales firm. Olga was a founding member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church and its Women’s Club. She was accomplished in sewing, having taken evening classes at the former Girls Trade School. She enjoyed being with her family, taking care of her home, baking cakes and playing golf. After caring for Charles during his illness, she volunteered her time at Abby’s House Thrift Shop. Olga’s family is grateful for the compassionate understanding and care she experienced at Notre Dame du Lac Assisted Living since 2008. Her time spent in both the traditional setting and Harmony unit provided her with the happiest and most carefree time of her life. Upon returning to Notre Dame after a hospitalization in June, she entered Harmony and said, “I love this place.” The staff and administration are united in their mission to honor and respect the dignity of each person. Also, her family is grateful to the Notre Dame du Lac hospice staff for their help in Olga’s care and their support for family members as well. Her recent residence at Notre Dame du Lac Long Term Care continued the compassionate care she had been receiving. Many thanks to all those who are responsible for her well-being including UMass Memorial Geriatric medical practice, Family Tree Home Care, Beaumont of Worcester, aides, friends and family whose kindnesses are very appreciated.
