Ms. Munda Greene Davis, age 65, Douglas, GA, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2010 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Ms. Davis was born in Savannah, GA on June 22, 1945. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home. Ms. Davis was preceded in death by husbands Sterling McFerrin, Jack Davis and father, Douglas Carlisle Greene. Survivors include: husband: Charles Phillips, Douglas, GA; daughters: Mary Elizabeth (Tony) Fletcher, Douglas, GA; Rebecca Ann (Donnie) Mathis, Nashville, GA; son: Heath Taylor(Cassie) McFerin, Valdosta, GA; mother: Ada Norris; grandsons: Alexander Fletcher, Jeffrey Sowell, Corey Sowell, Taylor McFerrin, Jack McFerrin and John Mathis; granddaughters: Sloane Fletcher, Madelyn Fletcher and Sara Mathis, several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorils be made to Georgia Christian School in Valdosta, GA. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
