LOWELL: Jonathan A. Marks, age 30, a lifelong resident of Lowell, passed away at home, on Saturday, September 18, 2010, following a long battle with hear t disease.
Born in Boston on May 26, 1980, he was the beloved son of Lawrence A. and Deborah A. (Shelley) Marks, with whom Jonathan resided of Lowell.
Jonathan was educated in Lowell Public Schools.
Prior to his illness, he was employed by Wal-Mart and Market Basket.
Jonathan loved playing video games, tinkering with his pick-up truck and riding four-wheelers and motorcycles.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiance, Nadine Chesbrough of Lowell, two sons, Jonathan A. "J.J." Marks, Jr. and Robert W. "Rabbit" Marks both of Lowell; one brother, Lawrence A. Marks, Jr. and his fiance, Shirley A. Champoux of Tewksbury; one sister, Kariann Riley and her husband Sean of Hudson, NH; also many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Calling hours Wednesday, Sept. 22, from 5-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 23, at 11 a.m., in the funeral home. Interment at Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
