WAYLAND/ STOW: Caroline Elizabeth Goodhue, 23, died unexpectedly on September 15, 2010.
She was born in Natick on October 20, 1986 the daughter of Lisa T. Dana of Stow and Charles G. Goodhue of Northbridge.
Besides her parents, Caroline is survived by her brother Charles E. Goodhue and his wife Catherine of Charlestown, her sister Marissa B. Goodhue of Stow, and her dog Savannah. She is also survived by her maternal grandfather Richard B. Dana of Savannah, GA.
Caroline had resided in Wayland for over 13 years before moving to Stow. She graduated from Wayland High School with the Class of 2004. She received her BA in Legal Studies from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2008 and currently was a third year law student at the New England Law in Boston, where she held the position of Treasurer of her class. Caroline recently completed an internship at the Springfield District Court. Among her many interests were whitewater rafting and skiing. She was a generous person with her time and spent countless hours volunteering in Malta to help the refugees, at Rosie’s Soup Kitchen and recently with several law students assisting Haitian families in South Florida following the earthquake in Haiti. She also volunteered with the Big Sister Program in Boston.
At the request of her family, there will be no funeral home visitations.
A Memorial Mass celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010 at 11 o’clock at St. Ann’s Parish, Cochituate Rd (Rte 27), Wayland.
