Obituary

Antonia Romagnoli, of Malden, died Friday at the Bear Hill Nursing Home in the company of her loving family. She was 90.

Antonia was born and raised in Italy the daughter of the late Domenico and the late Madalena Casasanta. After coming to the United States with her family in the 1950’s, Antonia worked as a stitcher with Stuart Pants of Boston. After many years here Antonia and her husband returned to Italy for several years. Upon his death She came back and settled in Malden. She was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She kept up to date on Italian politics and sports and enjoyed conversations about these subjects with friends and family.

She was the beloved wife of the late Arturo Romagnoli. She was a devoted mother to Francesco Romagnoli of Newton, Loretta Crugnale of Malden and Sylvia DiPierro of Medford. She was a loving grandmother to Arthur, Domenic, Stephen, Rossella, David, Daniela and loving great-grandmother of 12. She was a dear sister of the late Maria Ventresca, Carmela Pinciaro, Guerino and Giovanni Casasanta and is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews and her dear dog Bobbi.

Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday, September 21st, at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with entombment at Woodlawn Mausoleum, Everett.
