Edward A. Babin, 76, of Wrentham and New Smyrna Beach, Florida died September 17 at the home of his son Stephen.
Born in Cambridge, April 4, 1934, he was the son of the late Anthony and Madora (Nadeau) Babin.
Mr. Babin had been the owner of Babin Remodeling Company for many years.
Mr. Babin served in the Air Force during the late 1950’s and attained the rank of Air Man First Class.
He was a member of the AMVETS and American Legion Marsh Post #442.
He is survived by his children, Stephen E. and his wife Susan Babin of Wrentham, Brian J. and Anthony E. Babin of Wayland, Daniel P. Babin of Abington, Edward A. Babin of Waltham and Deborah J. Stenstream of Taunton.
He is also survived by his sisters, Irene Robichaud and her husband Lawrence of Fort Meyer, Florida and Germaine Lambert and her husband Robert of New Smyrna Beach, Florida.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Michael and Allison Stenstream and Joseph Babin and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 25 at the home of Stephen and Susan Babin.
Burial will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
