BROOKFIELD-Florence B. (Musk) McQuade, 79, of Brookfield, died Wednesday, September 15th in St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband of 24 years, Edward J. McQuade, died in 1977. She leaves three sons, Robert E. McQuade of Spencer and Stephen M. and David J. McQuade, both of Dudley; three daughters, Linda C. Newell of Oxford, Elaine M. Beckwith of Fitzwilliam, NH and Susan J. McQuade of Brookfield; three brothers, Frank Musk of London, England, James Musk of the Czech Republic and David Musk of New Zealand; three sisters, Margaret Curtis, June Musk and Ann Goddard, all of London, England; ten grandchildren; a great grandson; many nephews and nieces. Her son, John A. McQuade, died in 1965 and her brother, Ted Musk, predeceased her.
Mrs. McQuade was born in London, England, the daughter of Frank G. and Florence M. (Staddon) Musk, and moved to the United States in 1955. She was a CNA at Shrewsbury Nursing Home for 21 years.
Funeral services and burial are private. There are no calling hours. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester, is directing arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Massachusetts Veterans’ Shelter, 69 Grove Street, Worcester, MA 01605, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
