Alexander T. Clayton 14, of North Attleborough, died Tuesday September 14, 2010 at Children’s Hospital in Boston, with his family at his side, following a courageous battle against Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma.
Born in Weymouth, June 5, 1996 a son of Meredith L. (Henderson) Fontana and her husband Greg of North Attleborough and Ernest K. Clayton of Quincy, he had been a resident of North Attleborough for the past 2 years and previously lived in Randolph.
Alexander was currently enrolled in the 8th grade class at North Attleborough Middle School, he enjoyed playing video games, riding his atv, camping, hiking, drawing, and being outdoors. He also enjoyed watching the TV show “Family Guy”, cooking with his great grandmother, and all animals.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother Christopher W. Clayton of North Attleborough, his grandparents Paul & Joan (Andrews) Henderson of New Hampshire, Carter & Joyce Clayton of Illinois, Frank & Rosemary (Bassignani) Fontana of Franklin, and he is the great grandson of Elena (Femina) Fontana of Milford.
He is also the nephew of Elizabeth D. Henderson of New Hampshire,Bill Clayton & Cheryl Koehnke both of Illinois & dear cousin of Sarah Rose Henderson.
He was the grandson of the late Donna L. (Brown) Clayton and nephew of the late Chris L. Clayton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Saturday September 18th, in the United Church of Christ 1541 Washington St. Canton, MA 02021 at 11AM, with Rev. Dr. Marnette Saz officiating.
Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Medway Rd., Rt. 109, Milford, MA
