In Boston, Sept, 13, 2010 Elizabeth Sessums, age 86, died in New England Medical Center following a brief illness. Elizabeth was the wife of the late O. Kirby Sessums. She was born in Taunton to her late parents Victor & Helen (Martin) Breene. Elizabeth was educated in Taunton schools and graduated from Taunton High School and Bridgewater State College. She taught school at the former Immaculate Conception School and St. Jacques School both in Taunton and St. Mary’s/Sacred Heart School in North Attleboro. Elizabeth enjoyed reading, traveling and cherished the time she spent with her family. Elizabeth is survived by her children; Sheila Delage & her husband Francis of Northboro, Kirby Sessums & his wife Donna of Taunton, Daniel Sessums of Taunton, Kathleen Samuelson & her husband Gary of Brainard, Nebraska, Jane Sessums of Taunton and Laura Munro & her husband Peter of Norton. Her grandchildren; Shannon and Megan Delage, Kirby Sessums, Kari and Jason Samuelson, Nathan, and Emily Munro. Elizabeth was also preceded in death by her brothers Victor and George Breene. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, Ma. 02780 on Friday, Sept. 17th at 10 am. Followed by Mass of Christian burial in St. Jude the Apostle Church in Taunton at 11 am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday from 4-7 pm. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
