John Crawford Phillips, 85, Clarksville, died Monday, September 13, 2010, at his sons residence. The funeral will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010 at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev.E.G. Sims officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Full Military Honors. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born March 18, 1925 in Buford, Ga. He is a Marine Veteran and served during the Korean War. He was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Margaret Christine Reddick Phillips, Clarksville. one son; Michael (Karen) Phillips, Clarksville. one daughter; Linda Jo Phillips, Clarksville, two brother:Skipper Phillips, Fl. and David Phillips, MI. four grandchildren, Michael Phillips II, Sadie Phillips, Tracie Phillips, and David Phillips.
