Evans, GA – Robert T. Rungee, 89, entered into rest on Monday, September 13, 2010 at University Hospital.
A memorial service will take place at a later date at Brandon Wilde.
Robert attended high school in West Hartford, Connecticut. He attended Northwestern University where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity before entering the U.S. Navy in WWII. While serving, Robert also attended the Navy Weather School. He was a member of the American Legion and served on several Congregational Church Boards in Connecticut. Robert also volunteered for more than 20 years in the AARP Tax Aide Program.
Survivors include his wife, Marie M. Rungee of Evans,GA, three sons, Robert C. Rungee and wife Sally Ann of Berlin, CT, William R. Blank and wife Pat of Carlsbad, CA, Robert H. Blank and wife Patti of Miami, FL.
