Christopher R. DeBenedicitis, of Medford passed away unexpectedly on September 11th at the age of 41. Born in Medford he was the beloved son of Carl and Mary Lou (Donahue) DeBenedictis of Medford.
"Chris" as he was affectionately known by to his family and friends was a life-long resident of Medford where he was raised and educated and in 1987 graduated from the Medford Vocational Technical High School. He was a self-employed general contractor for several years and in his leisure time he enjoyed following all the local professional sports teams. His biggest joy was spending time with his family and especially his cherished nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Karla Rosie and her husband Neil of Melrose, brothers, Joseph DeBenedictis of Medford and Mark DeBenedictis and his wife Jill of Stoneham. He was the loving uncle of Lauren and Cameron Rosie of Melrose, Carlo and Bianca DeBenedictis of Stoneham. He is further survived by his aunt Rita DeMasi of Medford and also survived by many more loving aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday, September 16th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St. Medford, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 6 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
