Roy E. Peters, 77 of Lowell, died Saturday after a long illness in the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill, MA.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Laura (O'Brien) and George Peters.
Roy was the former proprietor, of R.E. Peters & Sons Insulation.
Mr. Peters was a member and past president of the Lowell Habitat for Humanity and a former Mason member. He served during the Korean War in the U. S. Air Force from 1950 to1954.
Beloved husband of Charlotte (Murphy). Devoted father of Donna Lee Parker of Bradford, Charles Peters of Lowell, Edward W. Peters of Pelham, NH Suzanne Peters of Tyngsboro, and the late Timothy Peters. Loving grandfather of Rebecca and Nicholas Peters. Brother of Paulette Marvales of Georgia, and the late Mary Witkowski, George Peters, and Joyce Goldman.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Tuesday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford
