Timothy Jay Pickens, 47, Ft. Campbell, Ky., died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, at his residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 12 Noon Friday Sept. 17, 2010 at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West , with Military Honors. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born Nov. 17, 1962 in South Haven Michigan, the son of Forrest Pickens, Jr. and Carolyn Schemenauer Pickens. He was an E-6 Air Traffic Controller Tech Sergeant in the Air Force,after retirement he was an Control Tower Operator for the FAA. He was a member of The American Legion Post# 1000. He was of the Budhist Faith. He is survived by his wife Chiab(Anna) Koyglang Pickens of Clarksville, three step-daughters Jen Jamieson(Wayne) of Clarksville, Tina Lenore Huntsinger of Fl. Donna Gayle Harlow of Virginia, two brother Dennis Pickens and Daniel Pickens both of MI., one sister Melinda Pickens and five step-grandchildren. Military will serve as pallbearers.
