Obituary

Mary (Stein) Rosoff of Chelsea passed away on September 10th at the Leonard Florence Center For Living in Chelsea . She was 90 years old. Born in Chelsea she was a life long resident. She attended the Chelsea schools and graduated from Chelsea High School. Mary was a member of the Winthrop Art Association,The True Sisters of The North Shore. A volunteer at the Chelsea Memorial Hospital and Woodbridge assisted living. Her hobbies included knitting,crocheting,macrame cooking,and baking. She was the beloved wife of the late David Rosoff. Devoted mother of Marlene R. Goodman and her husband Arnold. Dear sister of the late Sophie,Henry,Benjamin, and Samuel Stein. Beloved grandmother of Carrie Cohen and her husband Jeffrey.Kimberly Cooperstein and her husband Marc.Beloved great grandmother of Sarah,Sophie, and Benjamin Cohen.David and Ethan Cooperstein.Services at the Torf Funeral Service 151 Washington Ave. Chelsea on Monday September 13th at 11:30 A.M. Interment in Everett. Memorial Observance at the home of Marlene and Arnold Goodman Monday following the interment and Tuesday. Donations in her memory may be made to the Leonard Florence Center For Living 165 Captains Row Chelsea or to the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home Foundation 17 Lafayette Ave. Chelsea, MA. 02150.
