Obituary

Thomas R. St. John , a long-time Medford resident of Medford, died suddenly of Kidney failure Friday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital with his companion at his side. He was 65.

Thomas was born in Arizona and raised in Roslindale, the son of the late Edwin and Mary (Duggan) St. John. Thomas served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a self-employed painter for many years. A kind and generous man, he was helpful towards many local disabled veterans. The long-time companion of Sharon DeYeso of Medford, Thomas is also survived by several aunts and uncles.

His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 thru 8. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.
