Westport - Maurice D. Levesque, 74, of Westport died at home September 10, 2010. He was the husband of Jacqueline (Rezendes) Levesque.
Mr. Levesque was born in Fall River, son of the late Adelard and Jeannette (Ledoux) Levesque, and resided in Westport since 1963. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was a communicant of St. George Church, Westport. He was employed for over 20 years by the Tremblay Bus Company as a school bus driver for the Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical School. He found enjoyment in spending time with his family.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by a daughter: Nicole Levesque of Westport; 3 sons: Michael P. Levesque of Fall River, Stephen J. Levesque of Fairhaven and Paul A. Levesque of Florida; 2 sister: Therese Francis of Fall River and Muriel Brousseau of Westport; a brother: Andre R. Levesque of Newport, RI; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral from the funeral home on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. George Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.

Interment will be private.
