Mrs. Phyllis Mills Reeves, age 94, of Pilot Mountain, NC widow of the late Randall Turner Reeves, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, Dobson, NCMrs. Reeves was born in Surry County on December 8, 1915 to the late Ellis W. and Stella Forkner Mills.Mrs. Reeves retired from Baldwins Department Store of Mt. Airy and was a member of Ararat Friends Meeting for 84 years and played the piano for 75 years.Mrs. Reeves is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Sandra Reeves Seal of Mt. Airy; one son and daughter-in-law, Roger E. and Nina Jessup Reeves of Pilot Mountain; one son-in-law, Norman Simmons, Pilot Mountain; six grandchildren, Eddie and Amelia Reeves of Pilot Mountain, Lynn and Pete Cox of Galax, VA, Tammy Hunt of Winston-Salem, Jeff Seal of Pinnacle, David and Jamie Simmons of Abingdon, VA., Kevin and Noel York-Simmons of Atlanta, GA; ten great-grandchildren, Rachel and James Cain, Sarah Reeves, Mindy and Tim Chilton, Danielle Hunt, Jeremy and Candice Seal, Autumn Shay Seal, Hunter Simmons, Lucas Simmons, Eli York-Simmons, Linden York-Simmons; one great-great grandchild, Maria Chilton; two sisters, Christine Shelton of Mt. Airy, Joyce Robertson and husband Bob of Clemmons, NC; three sisters-in-law, Jackie Mills of Ararat, NC, Margaret Reeves Barker of Mt.
