Mary M. (Young) Leffland, 40, of Franklin, died Thursday, September 9, 2010 at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston after a courageous battle with leukemia. She was the beloved wife of Erik Leffland for the past 9 years.
Born in Milford on May 5, 1970, she was the daughter of Roland and Sylvia (Koshivas) Young of Sandwich.
Mary grew up in Scituate and graduated from Scituate High School. She had been a resident of Franklin for the past 10 years.
Mary was a hair stylist at Flair Cut in Medway for several years and had formerly worked at Goldwell of New England, Inc. in Holliston.
Besides her husband & parents, she is survived by her son, Evan Leffland of Franklin, a sister, Catherine Powers of Friendship, ME, a brother, Daniel Young of Fredericksburg, VA and nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Monday, September 13 at 7 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St., Franklin.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 5 – 7 p.m.
