Doris H. (Sigvardson) Shaw, 90 years old, widow of the late Walter B. Shaw Sr. who died in 1989, died Friday September 3 in Acton, MA.
Born in Lowell on June 5, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Ingrid (Johnson) Sigvardson and received her education in the Lowell schools graduating from Lowell High School, Class of 1938.
Prior to her retirement, Doris worked as an assembler for the Honeywell Corporation in Lowell. She was a longtime resident of Westford, MA and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mallory “Marilyn” Morse and her husband Harrison; a son, Walter B Shaw Jr. and his wife Linda; a grandson, Jason B. Shaw and his wife Kelly and three great grandchildren.
Doris was also the sister of the late Gladys Bolger and Carl Sigvardson.
SHAW- Relatives and friends are invited to her Graveside Memorial Service on Monday, September 13 at 11 am at the Family Plot in Pine Ridge Cemetery in Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Partners Home Care, 281 Winter Street, Suite 240, Waltham, MA 02451. Arrangements are by the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 NESMITH ST LOWELL, MA.
