Mrs. Rosebelle (Gagne) Riendeau, of Wisconsin and formerly of Taunton, Ma., died Monday, September 6 in Stevens Point, Wisc., following a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Albert Riendeau. she was born 95 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Arthur and Olive (Beauvais) Gagne. She was educated in Taunton and had been a city resident for most of her life. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a stitcher for the former Taunton Sportswear Company for a number of years. Mrs. Riendeau enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family. She was a communicant of the former St. Jacques Church in Taunton.
She leaves: 1 son: Robert Riendeau of Roanoke, Va; 1 daughter: Jean Weipert and her husband, Gary, of Taunton; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home of Taunton.
