STURBRIDGE- Ricky A. Lamprey, 50, of Sturbridge passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2010.
He is survived by his mother, Frances (Foskett) Lamprey of Sturbridge; two sons, Andre and Cody Lamprey of Woodstock CT; four sisters, Donna Roberts of Naples, FL, Pamela Murphy and her husband Michael of Hollis, NH, Laurie Fazio and her husband Frank of Auburn, MA Darlene Shea and her husband Shawn of Marblehead, MA and many nieces and nephews. His father, Andre M. Lamprey and his brother, Thomas Andrea Jr. predeceases him.
Ricky was born May 28, 1960 in Southbridge, Massachusetts a son of the late Andre Lamprey and Frances (Foskett) Lamprey.
He was a graduate of Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School in Charlton. Ricky worked as a water treatment specialist in the New England area.
An avid fisherman, hunter, coon dog breeder, and lover of nature. Among all he loved being with his two sons, Andre and Cody and his family.
His funeral service will be held Saturday, September 11th at Elm Street Congregational Church, 61 Elm St. Southbridge, Ma. 01550 at 11am. Calling hours will be in the church vestry Saturday from 10am to 11am. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, memorial donations may be made to the Andre and Cody Lamprey Education Fund, C/O Savers Bank, 55 Main St. Sturbridge,Ma. 01566. Burial will be in West Ridge Cemetery, Charlton.
