Taunton – Madeline Edith (Fottler) Cicon died September 3rd 2010 at Morton Hospital Medical Center after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family at the age of 83. She was the loving wife of Michael Cicon. She was born in Boston, Ma. Daughter of the late Theodore Fottler and Mabel (Lowe) Fottler. She worked as a telephone operator for many years and before retirement she worked at Jordan Marsh. She was a member of the Jehovah Witness Congregation in Taunton. Mrs. Cicon liked watching t.v. and doing puzzles. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her husband she is survived by one daughter Debbie Major of Brockton, Ma, three sisters, Barbara Angello of Revere, Ma, May Roos of Raynham, Ma and Nancy Johnson of Halifax, Ma, and three brothers Edward Rich of Florida, Robert Fottler of Little Compton, RI, and James Fottler of Taunton, Ma. She also leaves three grandchildren, Aaron, Kyle and Dylan and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Dorothy Roos. Her funeral services will be held Wednesday night at 7pm at the Taunton Funeral Home 8 Crapo St. (off Tremont St.) Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
