KENNEBUNK, ME-Marguerite A. (Goulet) Raposa, 81 of Kennebunk, formerly of Worcester died Thursday, November 27th at home after a brief illness. Her husband Sears Raposa died in 1956. She leaves 2 daughters Marguerite A.White of Kennebunk and Mary A. LaFleur of Spencer, 2 brothers Paul and Robert Goulet both of Worcester, 2 sisters, her twin Anna Simmons of Milford and Jane Blevins of Worcester, 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, several nephews and nieces. An infant brother and 3 brothers Arthur, Joseph and Francis Goulet, and 2 sisters Lucille Abbruzzise and Marie Verdalino predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Hector E. and Anna L. (Desrosier) Goulet.
The funeral is Monday, December 1st from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Sunday, November 30th from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.
