Catherine L. Collins, 83, of Walpole, died, Saturday, September 4, 2010 at the Charwell House in Norwood.
Born in Norwood on September 13, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Jeremiah J. and Margaret J. (Donovan) Collins.
Miss Collins was a resident of Walpole for the past 25 years and formerly resided in Norwood.
She graduated from Norwood High School and was bookkeeper at Bird Machine for over 30 years until her retirement.
She is survived by her brothers, John F. and Thomas J.P. Collins, both of Norwood and many nieces and nephews.
She was sister of the late James F., Jeremiah J., Mary M., Edward P. and Robert E. Collins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Wednesday, September 8 at 9 a.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home, 892 Main St. in Walpole. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Norwood.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2 – 5 p.m.
