New Bedford - Pauline C. Miranda, aged 83 years, died Monday, September 6, 2010 unexpectedly at home. She is survived by her children Cecelia Miranda and her twin brother Wallace Miranda II and Victor Fonseca all of New Bedford, she was also the mother of the late Benjamin A. Miranda, sister of the late John B., Evaristo A. and Phillip Briito. Mrs Miranda is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Miranda was the daughter of the late Cecelia (Ramos) and Antone L. Britto. She was born in New Bedford and lived here all her life. She worked for Coastline Elderly Services. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Miranda was also a member of the Cape Verdean Womans Club.
Mrs. Miranda’s funeral will be from Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. Thursday at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Church at 9 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 5- 8 P.M. Burial will follow at St John Cemetery.
