DICKMAN, HARRY THOMAS, 90, of Louisville passed away Saturday September 4, 2010 at his home.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and Disabled American Veterans. He retired as a coatings chemist for Celanese Coatings.
Preceded in death by his brother, Phil Dickman; three sisters, Mary Margaret Dickman, Sister Jane Mary Dickman SCN and Martha Herb; and one great grandson.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred (Seidl) Dickman; six children, Tom Dickman (Linda), John Dickman, Maria Wheat (Nathan), Steve Dickman (Gina), Becky Dyer (Rusty), Tim Dickman (Mary); one brother, Rev. John W. Dickman; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 5505 New Cut Road, with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy.
