Mrs. Kathleen Threatt Paulk, age 70, of Ambrose GA, passed away Friday, September 03, 2010, at South GA Medical Center in Valdosta GA, Mrs. Paulk a native of Coffee County, GA was born March 23, 1940; She is the daughter of the late George Wesley, Sr. and Selma Butler Threatt. She was preceded in death by Son, David Kimberly Paulk and Brothers, Ralph Threatt, George Threatt, Jr. and Tom Threatt. Funeral Services will be held 4:00 PM, Sunday, September 05, 2010, at New Hope Baptist Church with Burial to follow in the New Hope Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Threatt will be placed in the church at 3:00 PM on Sunday to lie in state until the funeral hour. The family will receive friends at Sims Funeral Home on Saturday; Calling hours are 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Survivors include: Husband, David Paulk, Ambrose, Daughters, Teresa (Mike) Fowler and Clarice (Joey) Anderson of Ambrose, GA, Son, Wesley (Delga) Paulk, Ambrose GA, Sisters, Elva Royal and Macie Pearce, Ambrose GA, Geneva Cliett, Haines City FL Seven Grandchildren and Three great grandchildren. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
