Tim Royal, 45, of Macon, Georgia died Thursday, September 2, at his residence.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 6, at Frank Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Edward McIntyre officiating. Chantay Edwards will give the eulogy.
Mr. Royal was born June 10, 1965 in Irwin County to the late W. C. “Buck” and Myrtle Tucker Royal. He grew up in Irwin County, graduating from Irwin County High School in 1982. Tim attended Jacksonville State University, Valdosta State University, and Mercer University. He had lived in Macon for the past 5 years coming from Virginia, where he worked as a mortgage broker. Tim was a member of Frank Primitive Baptist Church and enjoyed singing gospel songs.
He is survived by a daughter: Whitney R. Smith of Ocilla; granddaughter: Ansli Nicole Smith of Ocilla; aunt: Ida Miner of Tifton; special friend: Chantay Edwards of Macon as well as several cousins. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne “Zim” Royal.
